Gym! just starting out can anyone help??!

Question: Gym! just starting out can anyone help!?!?
ok so I have never been to the gym before and i am starting tomorrow because I want to get in shape!. I am only small definitely not fat I
Answers:
-Diet is the key to a flat tummy!. Eat lots of vegetables and stay away from starchy carbs like white bread, potatoes and rice!.
-Do flat tummy exercises!. Leg raises, crunches and running will all make your tummy flat!.
-Do more cardio to get your bodyfat down and get a flat tummy!. Try biking, swimming, running or hiking to be more active!.

And as for exercise for tummy you can try these:

1!. Belly rolls strengthen your vertical abdominal muscles!. Sit with your legs bent, with feet flat on the floor and arms straight in front of you!. Exhale and roll back until your lower back touches the ground and stop for a moment!. Inhale and roll back up!. Repeat 15 times!.
2!. In the same position, exhale and roll back until your shoulder blades touch the ground and momentarily stop!. Inhale and roll back up!. Repeat 15 times!.
3!. Tummy curls work on your horizontal abdominal muscles!. Lie on your back and bend your knees at an (almost) 90-degree angle to the floor with your feet raised slightly higher than your knees!. Breathe out, lifting your butt and rolling back to your shoulder blades!. Inhale and roll to your tailbone and stop!. Try not to let your bottom touch the ground!. Repeat 20 times!.
4!. Cross crunches are hard work but they're miracle workers at cinching waists!. You will need a liter bottle filled with water for this one!. Lie on your back with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle with the floor!. With your left hand cradling your head, hold the water bottle in your right hand!. Lift your head and shoulders off the ground and reach across your body, so the bottle is outside your left knee!. Pulse 20 times and then switch sides and repeat!.
5!. Tailbone lifts work your lower abdomen and can help reduce a belly pouch!. Lay on your back, with your arms stretched straight over your head and legs fully extended and crossed in the air!. While breathing out, lift your tailbone then slowly lower as you inhale!. To get maximum effect from this, don't let your bum just drop, you want to resist on the way down!. Repeat 30 times!.
6!. This is a favourite of mine as inverted crunches work your lower back which improves posture and strength!. Lie on your belly with your arms in front of you as though you are flying like Superman!. Exhale, lifting your right arm and left leg as high as you can!. As you inhale, lower slowly!. Switch, lifting your left arm and right leg!. Repeat 20 times!.
7!. In the same position, lift both arms and legs twenty times!.

and for your legs you can try this:
1!. Work the entire area of the thigh when working out!. Work the inner, side, front, back and buttocks!. Exercises such as the bicycle, leg lifts, leg slides, squeezing a stability ball and leg raises help slim the thighs!.
2!. Begin a walking routine!. Walking helps slim down the body overall, and won't bulk up your leg muscles like jogging will!.

If you go to a good gym with fitness trainers there they will often help you on how to achieve the goals you wish!. I know in my own gym I had to pay a fee of 30 euros and they did all the bizz on me!. Taking my measurements and fitness levels and so on!. They also gave me a workout sheet that I follow once I'm in the gym on their equipment!. Along with support and encouragement it's the best 30 euro investment I have done all year!. ^^Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest the elliptical machine, its cardio, but really does a good job toning your legs too!. I love it, but you would have to have some SERIOUS stanima to stay on it for 2 hours, I stay on for about 40 minutes, and am sweating like crazy when I'm done!. Its a really good workout, and it dosn't make you winded as fast like the tread mill does!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hello,

Maybe you should consider getting a personal trainer for maybe 1 or 2 sessions!. They will teach you everything you need to know about all of the machines in the gym and how to properly use them!. That would be a good start!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
