Think of how many people get their workouts through TV aerobic and yoga classes!. I think you heard wrong, as I know people who have done extremely well with the TV exercise programs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends how much attention you pay to the television!. If you pay a lot of attention to the television, then you don't focus of your exercise, and sometimes you may be doing an exercise wrong!. It's better to listen to music while working out because you can hear the rhythm and work out to the beat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Working out while watching TV or listening to music is lame!. When you exercise, you need to focus on the task, and get rid of all distractions!.

You only THINK you can work out longer while watching TV!. Fact is, you are not giving it your ALL!. You're trying to avoid the pain!.

Kill your TV, kill your iPod, kill all distractions!. Put in EARPLUGS!.

And IGNORE all the other answers here!. These people don't know what they are talking about!.

That's ridiculous!. what you look at has nothing to do with the work your body is doing!. as long as you keep going at the same pace you would go if u weren't watching, it makes exercising easier to get through and it motivates you to keep on exercising if you have a way to pass the timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

to be honest i think it's the same- it's just when you are watching a Tv then you pay attention to something and when you are just working out it's boring- so i would say i does not matterWww@Answer-Health@Com

Not if ur still actually working out lol!. ppl get distracted usually and stop working out as soon as they start watching TV!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think so because I go to the GYM alot & I burn the same amount of calories it's not going to harm you & you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, I don't think it's true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
