Should i try the detox diet?

i am 15 years old and i have overweight, in the internet i found out about the detox diet, that you can lose 21 pounds in 21 days... my mom says that losing too much pounds in a short time is dangerous.... should i try this diet?

not healthy to lose that much weight that fast, even on a detox diet. detox diets are very exhausting (you get energy AFTER, but not during) and being that young, it may not be the best thing to do.

you can detox while not fasting, which could be good, but you have to be monitored, by your mom, maybe.

and it's always best to take it slow. it's good to lose about 1-2 lbs a week, not a day.

really, if you want to lose weight, worry about changing your diet & exercising daily, for at least 30 minutes. and drink plenty of water. once you can take some weight off, you can try to detox, as we all need to detox, but at 15 ... you're probably less toxic than you think. unless all you eat is JUNK FOOD.
