Diet cheat day... 3500 calories too much for one day?!

Question: Diet cheat day!.!.!. 3500 calories too much for one day!?
I was wondering what peoples opinions are!. I'm trying to lose 10 lbs!. I work out 6 days of the week and eat 1300 calories each day, but on Sunday I take a break and end up eating about 3500 calories that day!.

Do you think this will stall my weight loss!? Is it okay to do this!? Is this a disgusting amount of food and should I try to limit it more!?

thanks :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No, if it's only once a week, it's perfectly fine!. In some cases, it will sometimes raise your metabolism!. Working out 6 days a week is above average, so that's good!. Also, 1300 calories a day is decent, depending how tall/heavy you are!. Usually for a diet, it's good to get your weight and multiple it by 10!. So!.!.!.I don't think this will stall your weight loss!. Also, sometimes toning is more important than cardio all the time!. Try to lift some weights and use resistance training!. Swimming tends to be good for weight loss, its easy on the joints, and it's a form of resistance training!.

haha, and is 3500 calories a disgusting amount!? NOPE! Sometimes when i take a break, I go to a buffet and eat anywhere from 6,000 - 10,000 calories in ONE sitting =/
Hey, but I still have a lean body ; )Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way to come up with the amount of calories you should take a day is this: Pick out the weight you want to be, then times that by ten!. That's how many calories you should stick with!. I used to diet, and I dieted everyday of the week except Sunday!. That day my evening dinner had no restrictions, ate what I wanted, then started right back on my diet Monday morning!. I don't know how much you weigh now and what weight you want to be, but 3500 calories if evened out throughout the day would not hender you weight loss!. I should have done it that way, but eating the big meal didn't stop my weight loss!. Evening it out would be better!. Say you wieghed 200 pounds and you wanted to lose fifty pounds, and somebody put you on an 800 or 900 calorie diet!. You would starve!. But if you times the weight what you want to be, 1500 calories will do it along with some excercise and drinking lots of water!. Go for it young lady and I wish for you the best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll know if you're not losing 1-2 pounds a week!.

On the weightwatchers points system, they give you 35 extra points a week to spend any way you want!. 3,500 calories, which equals a pound, would be about 70 points!. Even considering you're eating about 26 points a day, anyway, this is about 44 points on your cheat day, so I would say you're not going to accomplish your goals, for a guess!.

I think you should get some education on food!. Try www!.weightwatchers!.com!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No Limits

If your working out hard enough you'll start to build the sort of metabolism that can emaciate 5000 cal in a day!.

That's why you can starve for a day and not lose weight - it works in reverse!.

I eat everything in sight on my free day , actually I only have two free meals not a whole day but I eat a whole days worth of food at each!. YUMWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I think that is what cheat days are for!. You can eat and eat what you want so that you'll be motivated to diet because you already had what you craved but I think to achieve quicker limit it to 2500!. But I think 3500 is okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, try to limit it to about 2,350 calories!. This will get your phisique to where you want it quiker!. You will see results in 3 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

3500 calories is 1 pound, so ask yourself if it can fly, it also depends on how much you worked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
