Drinking Gatorade?!


Question: Drinking Gatorade!?
Is it detrimental to my health to drink Gatorade all the time, even though I'm not a big athlete or anything!? I only ask because I know Gatorade provides electrolytes, but I don't really lack them because I don't exercise to that extreme very often!. I figure Gatorade's a better alternative to pop (soda, whatever, lol)!. I actually typically drink the G2 that they have out, because the taste is lighter!.

Anyways, tell me what you know about this!.!.!. I don't want to be taxing my organs if this is an adverse habit!. Thanks in advance for your responses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good source to rehydrate yourself!. My main concern is what are in the ingredients!? A very, sadly, common sweetener is High-Fructose Corn Syrup!. I not a dietitian, but I've read that this one substance will slow down ones metabolism!. So slow is comparable to Senior Citizens!. One can only imagine how it really slows things down for them!. Also, keep in mind the salt content!. What's the point of trying to stay hydrated if your running to the bathroom to go! Still good for your search for healthier alternatives to the common sodas!. Also be careful with energy drinks!. They tend to be high on salt!. My example is Red Bull!. Just a can of that is up to 16% I think!. Also caffeine is bad for you and a tolerance to caffeine is sadly common!. So common that one, who's a caffeine-addict, can have that and still crash or take a nap!. Also with caffeine, it's bad for so since it may keep you awake; "frosty", but without it, you crash or sleep very hard if not drastically! Staying awake is unheathy for you!. Just take a look at Korea and WoW!. Somebody died because of such! Also, WoW's the devil or evil incarnate! :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is better than soda but there are hfcs (look it up) in Gatorade which can contribute to weight gain!. You also don't have to worry about not getting enough electrolytes you get plenty form salt and potassiumWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you're thirsty, it means your body needs water!. So drink water!. It's a lot better for you than sugary soft drinks (or, God forbid, diet soda) and a lot cheaper, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't need it, you need water!. I only drink gatorade after a prolonged extensive workout, other than that water suffices, plus water is calorie free!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's loaded with sodium and calories, Gatorade is not good unless you are really sweating and working out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
