Why am I still sore??!

Question: Why am I still sore!?!?
I work out a lot, and I never really stay sore for more than a day!. However, I worked my upper arms on Saturday and they are still sore as hell!. Why!?

I didn't change any of the workouts or reps, just added some more weight!. But a little more weight shouldn't cause me to be horribly sore, right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Isnt your "upper arm" your bicep!? Anyway an increase in weight with constant sets, reps and rest time means a more intense workout!. A more intense workout means more lactic acid in the muscle!. more lactic acid in the muscle means longer sore muscles!. I would do a high rep exercise just to warm them up!. your body will use the lactic acid for energy and should relieve the soreness!. If it doesnt get better you should look at your urine color!. If it is rust colored you should see a Dr!. that means you are in trouble!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like your upping the intensity to your training!. Good for you! When you do this you take your muscle to a new level!. Harder workouts means you need more recovery time for your muscles!. What I find really helps with recovery so I'm not so sore is supplementing with Creatine!. It really makes a difference!. Also, you may want to try adding a little Glutamine, an amino acid that really aids in recovery as well!.
The harder you train, the more you need to supplement!. More intense workouts are going to require supplements!. It's a good thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to drink more water to help repair the damaged muscle, rest it for a day!. When we up the intensity sometimes it is harder for our body to bounceback!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to drink tons of water and strecth your arms out every night till it feels beter!. Don't worry it will go away really soon!.

Hope this helped,
