First time gym member?!


Question: First time gym member!?
Im a bottom heavy girl (5'2" and 142 lbs) and recently enrolled in a gym!. What gym equipments should I use to reduce my big butt, thighs, and legs!? And how many sets/reps should I make!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

A gym membership and a few equipment is not going to make you lose weight!. You obviously got to where you are at now by over eating so that is where you start!. You should cut back to about 1500 calories a day, no more , and then go to the gym and do plenty of cardio, like brisk walking on the treadmill (2!.5-3 mile per hour speed is good to start) for atleast 30 minutes!. Don't worry about lifting weights or resistance/strength training!. For now, concentrate on reducing your food intake and doing cardio!. If you can pack in a solid 1 hour on the treadmill each day, every day, and a 1500 calorie diet, you should see the weight literally melt off in no time!.

At 5'2" you really should be no more than 120!.

Your hips, thighs and buttocks as well as your belly is where the body primarily stores excess body fat!. In order to get rid of that body fat, you have to lose weight, i!.e!. burn that fat!. So don't worry about using any equipment other than cardio equipment like the elliptical, treadmill and bile!. Though i highly recommend you stay away from the bicycles because those are for lazy people!. Stick to the treadmill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
