I can't stop eating!!?!


Question: I can't stop eating!!!?
I have not long started my period and I've none stop been eating junk food and it's making me put on so much weight!. I really can't help but eat it, it's like, whenever I see the food's there, I just feel like eating it automatically!. Please help me because Im already kinda big for my age, not abese, but no skinny either!. Can someone give me some tips on how to STICK to a diet and what to do when I feel like eating junk food please!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i couldn't really tell if you are a teenager living at home or on your own so if you do live at home with your parents ask them to buy some healthier snacks or if you are in charge of the groceries buy them yourself!. the main thing is to control how much you eat!. for example: instead of sitting on the couch with a whole bag of chips get out a paper towl and put a serving on the paper towel and put the rest away!. same thing for cookies or whatever!.

another thing is you can STILL snack when you are dieting you just have to find the right things to eat and control how MUCH you eat!. that's what helped me b/c i love to just snack on stuff!. Here are some healthier snacks that you could try:

- Baked Lays (bbq baked lays, i serving = 14 chips
- 94% Fat Free Act II Pop corn, serving size = 1/2 a bag
- Sugar Free Jello or Jello Pudding
- Goldfish
- Fat Free Pringles
- 100 Calorie Pack Oreo Thin Crisps
- Fruit! - my favorite is frozen strawberries with 2 tbs Fat Free cool whip on top
- Bryer's Fat Free Chocolate Cookies and Cream, serving size= 1/2 cup!.
- bowl of cheerios, serving size= 1 cup
- rice cakes with ff cool whip on top
- applesauce
- PICKLES!!!
- weight watchers cookies and cream bars- omg so good
- Fruit Roll up, serving size= 1
- if you are addicted to chocolate like many girls are at that time of the month try some dark chocolate!. it's not quite as bad for you !. but remember it's HOW MUCH you eat of it that will become a problem!. 1 dark chocolate hersey kiss is ok though!

Try these and only eat the serving size!. The cool thing about berries and pickes is they are pretty much calorie and fat free!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well, part of those food cravings are related to your hormones, and there isn't a lot you can do about them, especially as a young teenager!.

If you are interested in learning about nutrition and exercise Weight Watchers is a great tool, and not only for losing weight, but also (and perhaps more importantly) for education!.

My personal experience has taught me that if I REALLY want something, to go ahead and have a LITTLE of it and then hide the rest!. Sometimes it really is out of sight, out of mind!. Also, see if you can find health substitutes for whatever you're craving!. So instead of french fries try some rice cakes or instead of ice cream try some vanilla yogurt!. you would be surprised at how filling those substitutes are and how much your craving for junk food will diminish after trying a substitute!.

If you've tried all that and STILL can't stop, talk to your doctor!. He or she will have even more suggestions and practical solutions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To avoid eating so much, divide your dish to half and add salad to your meal!. Try to avoid junk food because, there is a lot of fat in it!. You don,t need to have a very heavy diet!. Before 7 or at least 8 try not to eat any thing!. Avoid chocolates and candies!. If you want to eat spagetti, eat only one dish and don,t have another dish of it!. You can enjoy your food by dividing it into half and still stay on a reasonable weight!. By the way, if you can, try to walk only half an hour every day!. I don,t drive to school and walk about 15 minutes each day to bus stop and catch the bus!. It means 30 minutes for going to school and coming back to home!. Now i am in a healtht weight and try to include fruits and vegetables in my daily meals!. I was cholcoholic in the past!. I hope it will work for u, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

2) if u drink lots of water or any fluid u wont be as hungry
3) keep telling yourself that junk food can kill u ): and we don't want that to happen

Just don't buy it!. I am so tired of going to the grocery stores and see what people buy!. Why do they buy junk food at all and they they wonder why they gain weight!? I don't have any (no not one) bag of chips or cookies or any desert in my house!. When I gave all that up it was difficult at first!. But after the addiction wears off you feel a lot better about everything!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was abit like that recentley! I could eat a whole biscuit packet in an hour!

I found that having healthy meals at the proper times ( breakfast ,lunch and dinner) helped and in between when i got cravings to eat, i started chewing gum!.!. and it honestley helped!

Make sure you get sugarfree so it dosent mess up your teeth though!

And if you like it maybe eat porrige for breakkiee !? It keeps you full all the way till lunch!

Put an elastic band round your wrist, every time you fancy junk food twang it really hard!. After a few times the brain will associate junk food with pain and stop craving it!. ( Don't know if this works but that's the principle, worth a try!)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get rid of the junk food in your house completely and buy healthier snacks!.

I always crave junk food before my period, but since there isn't any in the house, sometimes I settle for some fruit or crackers or no snack at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

start eating healthy food like vegetables and fruits they're good for you and when you're tempted to eat junk food just eat the healthy things I've gone though the same thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
