Should I change my diet?

I started doing weight watchers about 6 months ago and have lost 30 lbs. I have been stuck in a rut for about 3 weeks now. I started at 215 and am now at 185. My goal weight is 170. I was wondering if I should switch my routine up for around a month or so to get over this plateau. I have been doing low fat high carb all this time and am considering cutting carbs drastically for about a month just to mix it up and reach my goal weight. I like my diet and will continue to eat like I have been after a brief change to mix it up. Is that a good idea or not? Thanks for all responses.
