Question: I am 13, 5' 6", 180 pounds and i want to know how i shoud loose weight!?

Take a dog on a walk every day if you feeling running every day is too much!.

Then slowly get into a habit of running every day!.

I usually get up around 3 AM and get the dog and run about a mile!.

But you're 13 years old, unless school's out, I don't think that's an option!. But research has said that 3 AM is the best time to workout!.

You're gonna have to PUSH yourself, try to run more and more and walk less and less!. Build your lungs and burn fat!.

You have to eat right too, there's no way you're gonna lose weight even if you think you're eating right, get on a diet, it will help a lot!.

Take a lot of protein in now, and when you start losing fat and building muscle, switch it to a 50/50 protein and carb diet so you can have more energy to do challenging workouts!.

The simple formula is your output should be greater than your input!. This means that you need to burn calories more than you take in!. First write down everything you eat!. Do this for at least a week so you have an idea of your eating habits!. Look at the list after a week and think of things that you need to eliminate from your diet!. Second plan an exercise regiment!. Include in it cardiovascular exercise to burn the fat!. Finally work on your self-esteem!. Often times how we feel about ourselves affects our health and well-being!. This info is very condensed but if you follow it you will see changes!. The weight loss should be moderate - meaning you should reach your approximate body weight over some months and not weeks!. It all depends on your over all health!. Being 13 I would think your rather health!. Limit sodas to diet and very few!.!.!.maybe three a week!. Fresh fruit in place of sweets, very little bread, drink plenty of water and exercise!. Ride your bike, walk, swim, etc!. Also smaller portions and no seconds at meal time!.
