When to eat protein rich food?!


Question: When to eat protein rich food!?
i tried greek yogurt this morning and am in love with it! i know its very high in protein so when should i eat it!? for breakfast!? before or after a workout!? as a meal!? im sorta confused!.

im 22 yrs old, female and am trying to lose weight not bulk up

i do several cardio classes a week plus do light weight lifting to tone 4 days a week and on weekends i run 3 miles with my dog

should i be consuming alot of protein!? ( the greek yogurt i had contained 15g of protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For breakfast is good, after workout is good, as a meal probably not that good!.!. Except for breakfast!. Cause say, if you eat yogurt for breakfast and for lunch when are you gonna have your vegetables and carbs and stuff!.

Since you're trying to bulk up you don't need that much protein, but you should be consuming at least 50 g, but probably no more than a gram per pound of your body weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as your protein intake for the day wont exceed by 50g a day, you'll be fine!.

I would suggest that consuming protein before work out is great, however, after working out, your intake should be the foods which can be digested quickly!.
