Question: GUYS OR GIRLS help!!?
am 15 years old
5 ft 5 in and weigh 112 lbs
i want to lose about 10-15 lbs

this is my schedule, any advice on how to modify it to give me better results would be appreciated!

SCHOOL YEAR
wake up and immediatly go on a 2 mile run, then eat a special k meal bar
go to school and have a small salad for lunch
go to tennis from 3 30 to 5 30
work out at the gym from 5 30 to 7 30 (cardio and strength)
have some sort of meat and a vegetable for dinner
sleep for 8 hours

SUMMER

wake up and a 4 mi run
special k meal bar (with 180 calories)
tennis from 10 30-12 30
small salad for lunch
tennis from 1 30-3
work out from 3-5 30
swim laps from 6-7 30
have a meat and vegetables for dinner
hang out with friends at night so i dont get mmuch sleep


i ahve been doing my school year routine for >6 months now!.!.!.!.i am not losing weight just getting toned!.!.!.!.
ANY ADVICE!?!?!?

o and i dont need anyone telling me to not lose weight!.!.!.!.just tell me how!.!.!.i know i am skinny i just want to be skinnierWww@Answer-Health@Com

Assuming a heavy activity level (which you undoubtedly maintain), you need 2,470 per day to maintain your current weight!. To lose 1 lb per week (1-2 lbs per week is all most doctors reccomend you can lose healthily), you need to cut your calories to 1,970 per day!. Any less caloric intake, and you are not getting the food your body needs to support your activity level, and your body will begin to think it is starving and will store more fat!.

Also, vary your activity!. Running 2-4 miles a day is great for your heart, but once your body gets acclimated to it, it won't really help you lose weight!. You don't need cardio every day!. Alternate cardio with weights, throughout the week, and take a day off!

Make sure you are getting SOME carb and protein in the middle of the day!. JUST a salad isn't going to cut it, unless it has protein on it as well!. Eat smaller meals 5-6 times a day, and try not to eat late at night!.

Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat!. If you are toned and in shape, I wouldn't worry about the number so much!. 115lbs for a 5'5" woman is SKINNY!. What's your BMI!?

By all means, strive for the body image you want, but be sure you do everything in moderation, and healthily!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that because you are skinny already your body is just getting you more in shape, which should make you happy!
Also, i think that you should wait until the end of summer before any change!. I would also eat a breakfast, something like a bowl of fruit, right before your run, so you have something to burn!.
DO NOT THROW UP YOUR FOOD OR GO ANNOREXIC! YOU MUST MUST EAT FOR THE AMOUNT OF EXCERCISE YOU DO!
Sorry for that, there are too many 15 year olds that get obsessive about their weight, and start getting into bad habbits, this is not a healthy way to live life!.
