This is a great start! Definitely switching to diet from regular soda is good!. Diet soda is really not good for you either, though!. Try having just 1 diet soda a day, and drink mostly water!. Then, after a couple weeks, try going to 1 soda every other day, and so forth, until you have completely cut out soda!. Water is really the best!

Walking an hour a day is great! Keep that up!. It would be great if after a while you could work up to running a little bit!. I know you couldn't do that before going in to work!. But, add that at another time!.

I don't know what the rest of your diet is like, but make sure to eat plenty of whole grains (100% whole wheat bread, oatmeal), fruits and vegetables, chicken, turkey, fish, nuts, peanut butter, low fat dairy, nonfat milk!. Cut out all the unhealthy junk food like candy, chocolates, cakes, packaged, processed foods, high fat cheeses, high fat meats, fast food, etc!.

Don't deny yourself something you absolutely love!. If you, for instance, love chocolate, then allow yourself one small snack size chocolate once a day-maybe after dinner!.

If you love to go out to a certain restaurant, then plan on one day a week that you will go to this restaurant!. This way you look forward to it, and you won't be constantly craving it and then overdoing it when you break down and go there!.

Changing a little at a time will be most beneficial in the long run! Keep it up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, cardio is the best way to lose body-fat though doing all of it all at once is best!. Simply removing a single fatty food from your diet can go a long way (for even just a few days, try taking something you really like and substitute for something else with less fat/calories, like red meat for chicken or best would be fish)!. Soda in any form is not a good item to have in a health-conscious diet, instead try juice, tea or even water (water+lemon can be refreshing on warm days)!.

In all honesty!.!.!. try cutting all soda (diet and regular) and high fructose corn syrup beverages out of your diet for even just a week, and you'll see for yourself how much weight you can loose and how good you will feel overall!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes! By upping the exercise and cutting down on sugar, you should notice a difference in a few weeks!.
Some other suggestions:
walk up stairs instead of taking the elevator
replace half of your soda with water
drink a glass or two of water before you eat--you will feel fuller and eat less
use smaller plates to eat your food--it's an optical illusion--it looks like more food and your brain thinks you are eating more than you are!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Walking will help!. Switching to diet sodas may not!.
Lately there have been thoughts that diet soda slows your metabolism, and would Not help you loose weight!.
Smaller portions are a great way to cut the pounds!.
You may want to try a milk diet (it fills you up, with out loading you up with carbs!.)
Try fruits and vegatables instead of heavy meals and deserts!.
Try eating several small snacks instead of one or two big meals (they will keep you satisfied so you'll eat less at the regular meals)!.
And a hint: Muscle weighs more than fat> so weight is not a good measure of fitness!.
A fast paced walk, running, swimming, cycling,!.!.!.anything that raises your metabolism will help more than a slow walk!.
Little steps will only achieve little results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on the rest of your diet, yes!.!.!.!. but progress will be slow and steady, but that is okay!. It might take a month or more before you start to notice a difference!.!.!. this depends on how big you are!. Larger folks can lose as much as slimmer folks without it showing as easily--its a proportion thing!.

Drink plenty of water (8 eight ounce glasses each day)!.!.!. water helps the body function better and flushes out waste toxins!. Plus you will need it after all that walking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely! It's a great way to do it!. If you walk an hour a day, you'll burn an extra 400+ calories!. That's a pound a week, just by walking!. Cutting out the soda can help reduce calories, so you could lose another pound a week!. That's almost 10 pounds in a month and it's going to stay gone! You won't gain it back if you keep up!

Cut out soda all together, and you'll prolly drop about 15 pounds!. Walking an hour a day is good, but only if it gets your heart rate up!. Try speed walking!. These are good first steps!.!.!.!. but don't be afraid to try new things, different foods that are more healthy for you!. you'd be surprised at how tasty a lot of healthy foods are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
