Is an hour of tennis enough?!


Question: Is an hour of tennis enough!?
I'm trying to incorporate more physical activity into my life, so I play tennis with the outside of my house for an hour every day!. Is this enough exercise or should I incorporate more!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seeing as how I played high school tennis (soon to college level), I feel that 2-3 hours in a day is a good amount!. That's typically how long some of my matches/practices go!.
if you have local tennis courts (high school or public park) I recomend bringing a friend and hitting with them or playing a match, or two!. Its always more fun that way!.

Tennis is good excercise, but that shouldn't be the end of your physical activity!. Jogging and swimming are great cardiovascular excercises!. Though lifting weights for just an hour burns as many calories as running at a 6min/mile pace for the equivalent amount of time!. Don't worry about becomming bulky or gaining muscle mass, as long as you use higher repetitions like 15-20!.

I prefer to do this:
1-Gym for 3 hours
2- Play tennis for 2 hours
3- Do some activities like jogging or boxing for thrice a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
