Good luck!. Calves are one of the toughtest mucles in the body to bulk up!. It took me a while to get mine cut up to the point that they look really good!.
Normally, when working out!.!.!.
a) !.!.!.You use a LOT of weight for FEW repetitions to get STRONGER!.
b) !.!.!.You use LITTLE weight for a LOT of repetitions to build endurance!.
c) !.!.!.and the middle ground!.!.!. using a medium amount of weight with a medium amount of repetitions will build muscle and cuts!. (Usually using enough weight that causes you to get tired after 10-14 reps!. If you can do more than 14 reps, you're not using enough weight and you fall into category b!. If you are using enough weight where you can only do 6-8 or so reps, you fall into category a!.)
Calves aren't much different than any other muscle, so your choice is c!. However, don't be afraid to of overtraining the calf!. The big difference with the calkf is it can really handle a lot of weight and a lot or reps!.!.!. more so than you might think Train them more often than you might otherwise think, and go for that burn each time!.
If you train them correctly, they will be very sore the next day!. If not, you didn't train them hard enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
