Pushup Form?!


Question: Pushup Form!?
Hey guys, for my daily fitness I do lots of pushups (not any noticable muscle build up yet, though :( ) anyway I noticed that when I do wide angled or diamond pushups, my arms automatically go about level to my head!. Should they be lower than my head, like below my chest!? If I do this it seems to put more strain on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As with all other types of pushups, you want to go down until your biceps are parallel or level with the ground!. Sometimes it's a good idea to keep a pillow under your chest, so that you can find out if you're doing the pushups wrong!. You want your chest to come closest to hitting the ground first, not your abdomen or pelvic bone!.

I've also noticed that pushups aren't that great for an upper body workout, but they are good for keeping you in shape when you can't make it to the gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can but you are putting more stress on your shoulders and in time this will cause damage!. If you want to increase the effects of push ups then try using push up hand grip stands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
