Everything "whole grain" has alot more calories in it than something that doesnt, why would I choose that when I am dieting!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Nutritionally, you get more bang for your buck with whole grains!. They take longer to digest, make you feel fuller, have more nutritional content, and contain more fiber which is definitely a bonus overall!. In the long run, calories aren't nearly as important as nutritional content per serving!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you choose whole grains because they release their energy slowly in the body, are high in fiber, keep you full longer!. It's not the calorie count that you necessarily need to worry about at all; but it's what either in your food or missing from it!.
When choosing foods you want to stay away from lots of additives & perservatives, whole grains tend to have less of them!.
Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would agree with you!. I'd always go for whatever has fewer calories!. But I spose it depends on what you mean by "dieting" - maybe you just want to be more healthy!? But if you have a slice of wholegrain and white and you're trying to lose weight I'd choose what has fewer calories!. People waste time with fancy diets that eliminate certain things but it all comes down to calories in the end!. Energy in vs Energy out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fiber is supposed to keep you fuller for longer!. Even though it may have like 10 more calories per slice, whcih is like 20 calories more for a sandwich, it is less than eating a cupcake later that has 400 calories!. With the fiber bread, you are supposed to stay fuller longer and eat less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
