How can I gain muscle, but also get abs at same time?!


Question: How can I gain muscle, but also get abs at same time!?
Ok so I am 18 years old, and I am 5'8 and weight 145 lbs so im not over weight or anything, but i do have fat on my stomach and I want to lose that and gain ab muscles!.!. but in order to do that i must do cardio and eat healthy to lose the fat right!?

But also I have joined a gym and am looking to wight train and gain muscle and get big, and in order to do that I must eat alot and have a lot of carbs and all that stuff, right!?

Ok so my problem is these two contradict each other!. If I do a lot of cardio i lose what I need to gain muscle, and if i dont i gain ab muscle but have to much fat to even tell!.!.!.

So what can I do to both get asix pack and get ripped at the same time, or can i not!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I am doing: Eat 1500-1700 Calories of HEALTHY food such as:

Protein Powder + SKIM Milk:
350 cals, 6g fat, 35g carbs, 39g protein (14 oz of milk, 1 scoop protein)

Cottage Cheese (lowfat one):
160 cals, 0g fat, 10g carbs, 30g protein (1 cup)

(Try to get 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat)

To do this do:
Fat grams x 9
Protein grams x 4
Carb gram x 4

And get the %s if you don't know how to do it from there ask someone, its pretty easy!.

Lean Meats, Oatmeal, Whole Grain Bread, A LOT of water!.

Oddly Juices and Fruits/Veggies add too many carbs/sugars so aren't good, instead take Vitamins that will give you everything you need without the excess carbs!.

Then adding in about 30-45 min of cardio 6 days a week along with lifting and ab exercises!.

I am on this for 2 days I am already seeing results and if you make right diet the lowering of cals and fat will lower your % body fat and you won't feel sickly because you are still getting enough protein and carbs to keep you going strong!.

BTW I am 5'9" 145 lbs so we are almost in exact same shoes!. I have gained 2 lbs since I started and I look slimmer and my muscles look better so I believe something is working :D!.

eat alot of protien, carbs, and calories!.!.!.!. stay away from fatty foods so the weight you do gain is good muscle weight!.!.!.!. have you workout something like

Day 1
-Tris
-Biceps
-Forearm
-Abs

Day 2
-Chest
-Lats
-(Abs if not sore)

Day 3
Cardio day, about 30-45 min cardio
-Abs

Day 4
-Shoulders
-Back
-(Abs if not sore)

Day 5
-Legs

Day 6
-Cardio
-Abs

Then repeat after that!.

For cardio if your also looking to get big limit it to 3-4 times a week but really do cardio whenever you feel like it, same with abs, but make sure you work your abs 3 times a week

Again eating right is the most major part!. And start drinking protien!.


At first you might loose weight, but dont get discourraged because when you first start all that fat will start to get burned and that will make your abs start to show better, and the rest of your body will get more cut!. then after that if you keep doing everything right then the only thing that will happen to your body after that is that your muscles will grow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
