Healthy and effective appetite suppressants?!


Question: Healthy and effective appetite suppressants!?
i'm 19 years old and a little too curvy for my liking!. i'm working hard to lose about 15 pounds by the end of summer, and so far i've been sticking to a fitness schedule and new eating habits!. my meals are a whole lot healthier, but i have a problem with snacking!. constantly munching is a habit of mine, and i know that even snacks like fruit will add up in calories over time!.
i'm trying to find some kind of supplement to help suppress my constant hunger!. i absolutely don't want to use anything dangerous, like infomercial diet pills!. i would prefer to stick to something natural and recommended by someone who has lost weight gradually and successfully!.

I don't know of any herbal supplements like that, but I find it effective to drink a hot drink like green tea or coffee, or even a cold drink (since it's summer)!. It tends to make you feel full for at least a little while!. I also try to occupy myself with an activity that doesn't allow eating, like exercise or scrapbooking or practicing music!. Before I know it, it's meal time and I've got past the cravings!.

lots and lots of water is healthy, and fills you up!. DOES NOT replace healthy eating though!. A healthy diet, with exercise is key!. Skip the pills and supplements (other than vitamins)!. Don't set your goal weight too low for your frame and height!. Expectations can be unrealistic!. Several small meals spaced closer together can help curb the snacking issue!. Stick to healthy snacks, not no snacks!. depriving yourself doesn't work, you'll just rebound worse later!.

I'm studying to be a dietician, and I'd like to add something here very important: fruits are always good snacks, unless you eat a ton of fruits each time you're snacking (or if it's a ton of avocado, which is a fruit with some fat content)!. Don't worry about calories all the time, that's killing any diet!.
A trick is to snack on fruits or carrots, cucumbers (not much, like 1/2 a cup) bc we need at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits every day!. And sometimes, when we think we're hungry, actually we're thirsty, bc the body knows there's water in some foods, and then your brain picks foods, but you actually need water! (9 cups a day INCLUDING the water in fruits, milk etc, so I'd say 7 cups a day plus what's in what you eat)
Also, fruits are preferrable to drinking fruit juice, bc the fruit juice needs more fruit to be made and then, will give more calories!.
And never NEVER!! cut a nutrient from your diet: no cutting carbs, protein or fat completely, bc your body needs it!.
Now, about appetite suppressants, it is not a good idea!. Unless you intend to stay on them the rest of your life, you may gain weight again, and to just "mask" your hunger now and to not TRAIN and EDUCATE it, is not going to work when u stop the suppressant!.
And exercise, always exercise!. After all, eliminating extra weight is nothing more than eating less energy (calories) than we spend!.

GREEN TEA!! its kinda a detox diet! i just did it yesterday for the second time all you do is drink green tea alll dayy long and trust me its not anything hard!! what you do is boil green tea and drink it hot/warm!.!.!.you could do this all day or just when you get hungry!.!.green tea def supresses your appretite and your body works to also lower your body temp as your body will tend to get hot from the tea!!!.!.potassium also as well which is in bananas if u eat a banana you will notice you arent hungry after!.!.!.and also COFFEE! i use to drink it everyday coffee makes u feel very fullWww@Answer-Health@Com
