I am 5'5 152 lbs. What should my daily calorie intake be? Fitness Experts please!

Question:

I am 5'5 152 lbs. What should my daily calorie intake be? Fitness Experts please help!?

I am 22 yrs old and looking to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I have been doing research but I am still confused on some parts.

At my current height and weight at 5'5 152 lbs, my BMR is 2353 cal. If I have a deficit of 700 cal, my daily calorie intake would be 1653 cal right?

Is that number about based on a 2000 daily calorie diet or something else? I am confused on that part?

I exercise 4-5 times a week for about 1-1 1/2 each session.

Please advise......thank you

Answers:

I'm no professional but I've been doing some dieting and exercising, I don't eat pork, little to no pork, three meals a day, not to much food, but enough to satisfy me, no meals after 8pm, if I do get hungry I'll eat some fruit or curve my hunger with water. Even though I drive, I walk at least 2-3 times/week. Also I do at least 1hour of dancing 3-4 times out of the week. I am very happy with my results, I am currently 5'5"/136lbs.
When I started I wasn't really sure how to calculate my calorie intake, everything sounded very foreign to me, but I was able to find something that I found to be helpful, hopefully it can be helpful to you, there are lots of tips and ideas to help you along the way! Good Luck!
