Question: Lap -band surgery for me!?
I'm a 44 male who at 5' 11" weighs 275 lbs!.,this isn't my heaviest!.!.!.!.299 was!.I tried diet and exercise for 10 years,nothing lasted or worked for that manner!.I go to the gym 6 days a week,one hour on the treadmill!.I burn 400 cal!.each time!.I sweat buckets and out of breath!.If I miss three or four days away from the gym!.!.I gain 10 pounds!.I always think about food,I eat and feel guilty!.I need to correct my problem because the extra weight is hurting my back from a failed spinal fusion!.Is lap band for me!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I opted for Lap Band 4-16-08!. The doctors do testing to see if you are a candidate, which includes lots of blood tests!. My cardiologist nixed the gastric bypass because of a pulomary embolism that was found, after it was treated they wanted me to do lap band and I did it and I am down 30 pounds and I am very happy!. You really need to go to your doctor and talk to him/her about the surgery and your doctor would suggest which one to do!. You have to change your eating habits because no matter which surgery you have it is only a TOOL and what you do with your tool is up to you!. A major lifestyle change!. With the lap band you will have to do exercising a lot!. and you are ahead of the game!. Good Luck no matter what you chose!.!.!.Oh, I had back surgery and they inserted a metal rod and screws and with the 30 pounds it feels much better!. Sounds like food is your best friend, most of us do!.
