Question: What's a good exercise to tone my arms (without making them really muscular)!?
i want to tone my arms so they're not all flabby and stuff, but i dont want my arms to become manly and muscular (im a woman) so what is a good exercise to tone my arms!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think the best exercises for toning are isometric exercises!. that means the muscles work but without the usual contraction when lifting objects e!.g!. dumbells, or even with push ups!. one example of isometric exercises is pushing against a wall for a few seconds/minutes!. there is force because you're using your muscles but they don't necessarily contract!. that way your muscles are kept in tone, but dont bulge like that of a male's!. search the internet for more isometric exercises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't just spot reduce fat in one part of your body!. You really need to do and mixture of good cardio work outs and some arm work!. A good toner for arms though (with out the muscles that you are wanting) is trisept dips!. Find a steady chair and put your arms at a 90 degree angle with your hands on the chair and the rest of your body is straight!. You then bend your arms bring your bottom to the floor and back up!. ( i hope you are getting this cos I'm not to sure its coming out right) but anyway

And if you are a girl it is very very hard for a girl to get extreme muscles on your arms you have to do heavy weight very often to get the bulky result!. But yea as i said make sure your doing cardio about 3-5 times a week for best resultsWww@Answer-Health@Com

half push ups (so push ups but kneeling), push ups against the wall, and tricep curls, ie extending your arms above your head, hold a can of beans or bottle of water or something like that, and curl and extend!. you won't get muscular arms unless you use heavy weights and do lots of reps!. do 3 sets of 10-12 reps, this will tone your arms and not bulk them up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom used to (and still does) get up every morning and do curls with 6lb dumbbells!. Those are extremely light and a lot of reps should do the trick!. If that doesn't work then increase the weight a little bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to the gym and lift weights you are a woman you lack the hormones to gain muscles like a man the women that look that muscular then they are probably on hormone supplementsWww@Answer-Health@Com
