Question: UHMMMM - I am a little worried about my !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
weight!! I am a 14 1/2 yr!. old girl, about 5'10!.5" tall and weigh about 127 lbs!. I feel gynormous !! Does that weight sound OK to you!? I currently play basketball and soccer and also like to go running and rollerblading so I am pretty active!. SO, what do you think!? Thanks!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no you are pretty small! because of your height, it all evens out to make you look very thin!. you are thin!. that is small!. it doesn't really matter about your age because you have good height and all of your fat evens out into the right places!. you sound skinny to me!. my sister is 5''6 and almost sixteen and about 130 pounds!. she looks very skinny! her back bone and bones like pop out because she looks so skinny! if i were you, i wouldn't be worried at all!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're five feet, ten and a half inches!? At 127 pounds, you're certainly not overweight!. I'm somewhere between 5'11" and six feet and weigh about 157 (as of this morning's scale reading) and I'm on the very thin side!. I think you're "gynormous" feeling comes from your height!. That's understandable!. From middle school on I have been taller or as tall as most adults!. It's rarethat I have to look up, even slightly, to talk with somebody else, other than my dad (from whom I inherited my height)!.

I've always liked my height because it's part of who I am, I guess!. When I was in high school, my body issues were about my weight-- I was over 200 pounds; At my heaviest I was 222!. I can relate!. Sure, I had to buy guys' jeans, mostly, because clothing companies did not wise up that women besides models were actually tall!. I've had to settle for skirts, pants, jeans, etc!. that were a bit shorter than I liked because it was better than nothing!. Many men have hit on my body and not on me!. Eh!. I learned to deal with it!. However, I can usually spot people in crowds!. I can use the high shelves in my cupboards on a daily basis, I can reach things on the high shelves at the grocery store and hand them to other shoppers!.

Actually, you're weight is very good for your height but maybe instead it's your "shape" your concerned with!? That's where toning comes in!. Talk to your parents about adding more protein and colorful foods to your diet and decrease the carbs, especially the non colorful carbs!. This will help you begin to tone some!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound like a very healthy, tall, athletic, and properly proportioned young lady!. The current TV and magazine standard of super skinny models is terribly unhealthy!. You sound great!. Keep doing what you are doing and be proud of yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
