Because people are very self conscious and we have thin images thrown in our face daily with the celebrity circuit how everyone wants to be Kate Moss or like Posh and Becks well may be not so much like Posh nor Becks actually !
Weight is something people are judged on
Usually if you are fat you must be a bit mental or have emotional problems whilst true in some cases its not always the case!.
Its the thin good fat bad ethos sadly somethings will never change

thats not always the reason some people actually belive they are fat even when they arnt!. i know because im friends with people like that and in fact used to be like that!.
Yes some do it for attention but also if they have low self confidence!. Sometimes just hearing that you look great gives you a little boost!. Not everyones happy with their body so dont be so judging!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know the facts b/c I am that way!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I never asked am I fat!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I know I am fat!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i had mention that I was fat and wanted to loose weight and a preacher (the 1 I like) told me that I wasn't fat and he was very angry with me b/c I said that I was fat!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.when I approached my cousin with this information she told me b/c he likes plus size womenWww@Answer-Health@Com
Usually these type of statements come out of the mouths of girls that have a eating disorder!.
This could be a sign!. If that person is clearly not overweight and continue to say things like that they may have self esteem issues and may need a friend to intervene to save her life!.

b/c people want attention!. it's pathetic!. people who ARE fat know they are fat (even though they may not emotionally recognize it or be able to change it)!. people who ask if they are fat know they aren't - they just want to hear themselves talk and hear people say no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
