Help!!! Can my breast be toned or lifted again by working out my chest?!

Question:

Help!!! Can my breast be toned or lifted again by working out my chest?

I just had two babies and breast feed them. My breast are sagging a bit but the skin is still toned. Is it possible to workout my chest and see some tone or lift results in my breast?

Answers:

Yes, exercise will certainly improve the lift. Flyes do help some, but best results are with presses. The pecs are really 2 muscles, and even building them up a little, will make nice results. My suggestion (as a trainer) is;
Flat bench press - 2 sets
Incline bench press - 2 sets
Shoulder press - 2 sets

A day or 2 of rest then;

Flat bench press - 2 sets
Decline bench press - 2 sets
Pec flys - 2 sets

I strongly recommend dumbells instead of bars. The reason is the dumbells will require increase work per arm, thus keeping everything symetrical. The flat press will add the most volume to the pectoral muscle, and that is what will lift the breast out off the chest wall, the incline will build the higher pec (pectoralis minor), giving your breast lift upwards.

Remember to "round out" if you have time. In other words, build your back and lats as you work your chest in order to have a nice appearance. Incorporating a couple of back sets such as dumbell rows and pulldowns will increase the tone and conditioning of your complete upper torso. You'll look very healthy, toned, and have the lift you're looking for!
