Question: Did I eat to much!? best answer gets 10 points!!?
ok so i ate a bowl of life cereal with milk for breakfast, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (lots of peanut butter and jelly on white bread) for lunch, and like 2 1/2 slices of baked ziti pizza for dinner
oh yeah and i had a snickerdoodle!.
did i eat too much today!? did i eat too many calories!? about how many calories do you think i ate today!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mostly, what you eat is not about what you eat, but how you eat it!. I see this alot, as I am a dietician!. Starting with your breakfast, what percentage of milk fat is the milk used in your cereal!? A healthy milk-fat ratio is milk containing 2% or less fat, so either, skim, 1/2 %, 1%, or 2% is the healthiest to consume!. You also had a peanut butter sandwich, which most peanut butters air on the healthier side because they contain high amounts of protein, and often some fiber!. The jelly is mainly just sugar and little, if any fruit!. The real problem is the bread!. White bread does nothing for your body!. Try switching to a whole grain bread, it contains more fiber, which keeps you fuller longer, and is much healthier than the white bread which has enriched flour, which strips the bread from any nutritional value!.
The baked ziti pizza would be alright every once in a while, but only in moderation!. I know for a fact that you consumed more calories than are "alotted" within a 24 hour period for a person!. YOu didn't eat "Too much", just not enough of the "right foods"!. I see no mention of vegetables and fruit, and very little dairy and protein!. Just mainly carbohydrates and fats!. It's not so much that you at too much it's what you ate!. There were no vegetable or fruit and you are eating white bread instead of whole grain breads!. You also need to be eating lean meats fish, chicken,beef and have them grilled not fried!. You will feel and look better when you eat a balance diet!. Drinking water 6-8 8ozs is great it really helps the body feel full and hydrated!. And don't forget to take a good multivitamin with minerals !.www!.supplements2health!.comWww@Answer-Health@Com

breakfast! make sure you having a cereal with a lot of fiber and skim milk

lunch! WHOLE WHEAT BREAD! Less peanutbutter, use real jelly or jam that doesnt have much sugar

DINNER! Bread and pasta WITH CHEESE! God, if u wanna have a sexy body than thats a no no

The more important question is how many calories did you burn today!. You could eat a million calories a day if you are burning a million!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, my guess is you ate about 3500 calories!.
I would say that you may not have eaten to much, however you definetly ate the wrong stuff and the wrong spacing!.

TO maintain and or loose weight you need to space your meals about 2-3 hours apart, and eat up to 6 meals a day!.

For most people 1800-2100 calories a day is fine!.
That is about 300-350 calories per meal!.
By doing this your metabolism stays high, and your netrient retention is much better, plus since you eat more often you are a lot less likely to binge and or overeat!.
See when you eat to much, your body can only use a portion of it, so whats left over turn to fat and what cant be stored as fat is wasted in the restroom!. By spaceing you meals, there is less left over for waste or fat!.

The killer in your meal is the Jelly, that is loaded with carbs, and carbs are very calorie dense foods!. The Ziti Pizza was a killer too!.

There are ateast 300 calories just in the snickerdoodle!.
That is one whole meal!.

So try this for 2 weeks!.
Try and eat High Fiber, High Protein food, likes Oatmeal, Eggs, Chicken and Oats!. Making sure that the majority of your food is protein based and that your carbs come from high fiber sources ( that means no snickerdoodles )
And 1 gallon of water a day (atleast)!.
Do just that for two weeks and email me what you notice as the difference in not only your weight but how you feel!. You will be amazed!.

Ok, secondly your calorie needs are based on many factors
1) Are you trying to gain, loose, or maintain weight
2) What is your activity level
3) what is you current size and weight
4) How consistant during the day are moving, are you tied to a desk 8-12 hours a day or do you move around a lot like a waitress!.
5) What is your maintenace calorie level ( How many calories does it take for you to do nothing and still stay alive )

After you got those answers, then you can gauge how many calories you need!.
Now, most people will figure this out by trial and error
Eat less and less till you start to loose weight, then add more and more till you start to gain, then balance it around that for your goals!.
It take months to figure it out!.

But it is well worth it in the long run!.
