Answers:
No!. Your body's primary source of energy is carbohydrates!. Carbs are stored in your muscles in the form of glycogen!. Carbs not burned after eaten are stored as fat!. Your body burns glycogen, then fat!. If you are metabolizing protein (pork) for energy you are all out of both glycogen and fat!. That is extremely rare for a normal person!. If you have any bodyfat at all, then you are not getting energy from pork!. The fact that you felt as if you had stamina at all proves that you still had glycogen!. When on a protein only diet for any length of time (more than 3 days), one will begin to feel extremely fatigued!. Also, when I say you do not get energy from pork, I mean you are not metabolizing it for your bodies immediate physical energy requirements, like walking up a flight of stairs!. Of course pork has calories, and calories provide the body energy, but that energy is doing other things like keeping the muscle you already have from wasting away, or healing damaged muscles after a workout!. You dont actually feel that energy!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
