It seems like the only way I'm able to lose weight without exercise is by eating nothing but salad!WHY?
If I eat anything else the numbers on the scale either stay put or go up....

To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat. If you don't exercise than the only calories you are going to burn are through your daily activities. The lettuce has very few calories and is hard to digest and so your daily activities burn them off. If you are trying to lose weight without exercise, make sure to take a multivitamin and drink lots of water. More water than you think you need.
