What sort of vitamins should I take?!

Question:

What sort of vitamins should I take?

I'm looking to supplement my diet with some vitamins. I just need sort of a general variety, but I'm not sure what I may or may not need. I don't want to end up taking a whole meal in vitamins, but I make sure I get what I need.

The reason I'm thinking about taking vitamins is that my dad thinks I have a deficiency in folic acid. I figure if I may want to get a general supplement in case I'm missing anything else from my diet.

I eat pretty healthy- salads, vitamin waters, & stuff. I do eat junk food, but I've been eating that less lately.

Nope, definitely not preggers. :)

Not doing the kind of stuff to get pregnant, unfortunately. I do sort of wonder if it's my diet, but then I actually eat better now than I used to a year ago. I've started getting fruits, veggies, & bagels to eat for lunch.

If you only take one supplement make sure its Omega 3, type that into a search engine and you will see all of the benifits.

I personally take Omega 3 (to may benifits to list)
A multivitamin - Centrum- contains all essential vits and minerals.
Vitamin E- a powerful antioxidant to help destroy the free radicals in your body helping you look younger and heal quicker.
Vitamine C -another powerful antioxidant wich will help you stop falling ill and recover quicker. And finaly
Glucosamine- for joint repair.

I know it sounds like a lot, but before i started taking them i was falling ill every two weeks or so, since i started i have not had a serious cold or ailment. I know there are other factors than just the vits but i belive they have made me healthier.

There are other good ones but personally i think those are the best.

Good Luck.
