counting calories is a system used to watch how many calories you consume and then subtract how many calories you burn a day from it!. you either want to stay even or have a defficet if you want to lose weight!.

if your 15 y/o boy is over weight then yes you need you be watching what he eats and what he does!. turn off the video games and get him enrolled in some sports!. he might not like it now but he will later when he is ripped!.

I wouldn't be counting calories!. If anything just watch what you put in your mouth!. Try to cut out junk food and pop, juice and drink water!. Get active also!. Sports are good, walks, jogging!. Any only eat when you're hungry!. I wouldn't start counting calories yet but try and figure out how many calories you should have a day!. Just watch what you eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends if your like me (eat loads and loads and never put on an ounce) or youre one of those people who is already fat!. if you are fat/chubby i suggest you go play sport or run or something which is what people around our age should be doing anywayWww@Answer-Health@Com
