Ya, try to gain a little momentum at the end of your way down and go for a quick bounce back up, taking a quick deep breath and slow exhale, or you might stull if it's close to your chest too long!. Make sure you don't twist your back or push off with your legs!. Keeping your legs up off the ground is a good technique and helps your core and maintain form!. Your poundage might not be as much, but you'll stabilize your pecs, shoulders, abs better!. I kinda like dumbells, personally!. No spotter needed, bigger range of motion, more focus on balance and form!. You can put up more weight with a bar, but that doesn't mean you'll build more mass!.!.!.!.!.!.if that was the case, you'd build more mass using universals and smith machines, which we know to not be true!.

*I agree with Boom, dumbells are much better than a bar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't do bench press, it's such a bad exercise!. And no, that is not the correct area to lower the bar to!. You do it so that your arms are at a 90 degree angle, going down any further will harm your shoulder!. No, the best exercise that gives you an even work-out on both sides of the body is the dumbell press!. Much better, more challenging and gives you a waay better burn!. You'll notice this as you start getting into lifting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I always recommend different placements to work slightly different muscle fibers, u'll get a better overall shape that way!! It also depends on whether you are wanting strength, size or edurance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's fine!. Variation just helps to work different parts of your pectorals, triceps, and biceps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats about right, shoulder lenght apart on the bar rememberWww@Answer-Health@Com
