Why can't I get sore from working out?!
Question: Why can't I get sore from working out!?
I work myself out until exhaustion but I never get sore, in fact I usually feel fully recovered in a few hours!.
For example, I'll do push-ups until I literally can't push myself off the floor anymore, and then do as many knee push-ups as I possibly can, and then an hour later I'll be able to do push-ups again!. I'm not sore in the morning!.
The same applies to my workouts at the gym!. I'm currently doing high intensity training mixed with a standard workout!. I work myself to the bone, till I can't do the excersize at minimal weight anymore, and yet I never feel sore!.
I heard soreness is not an indication of whether or not you are getting a good workout, but I can't help but wonder that I'm not doing anything for my muscles whatsoever!.
Helpful information:
I'm 6'2", 185lbs, barely overweight (a little fat on my stomach and neck)!. I go to the gym once every two days or every day depending on how well-rested I feel!. I ride my bike to the gym (5 miles)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you are working endurance routine so you have trained your body to adapt & work well with the lactic acid build up and have a pretty good cardio as well by the sound of it!.
If you want to change the routine drop the reps & max out the weights that should prompt your body to adaption to the different stimuli!.
For example drop the pushups for some decent weight at 10 - 15 reps bench press making sure the weight is high enough that the 10 th to 15th is hard to almost failure just make sure you have a spotter to catch the weights for safteyif you do get to failure !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein shake are the building blocks of muscle so that's why you may have a short recovery period!. The other thing is maybe you need a more intense workout not in reps but in weight!. Try more weight and when you do push ups don't do them on your knees if you can do them the correct way!. You can even put a 25lbs weight on you back when you do push up!. Just have a spotter to take it off your back!. There's a lot you can do but the main thing isn't the pain the main thing is that your in shape and that you are growing in muscle!. If you are going to a gym ask one of the trainer for advise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
