Does eating food late on a night make you fatter??!


Question: Does eating food late on a night make you fatter!?!?
Does eating after 6!.30 pm on a night make you fatter than if you ate exactly the same ammount of food before that time!?

For example i ate 2000 calories worth of food between 8!.00 am and 6!.30pm and then the next day i ate 2000 calories of food between 8!.00 am and 10!.00pm!.

Would i get any fatter eating the same ammount of food as day 1 but at a later hour!?

Food is your fuel and if you fill up and then don't use it because your asleep, the body converts it to fat reserves, so if you eat at times when you are unlikely to 'burn it off' you will of course put on weight!.

Try to eat before 6pm if you can!. yes you will put on weight if you eat late at night because statistically people use or burn less energy at night compared to during the day!. so the extra calories you eat turn to fat and stay on the body,whereas in the day you naturally burn more calories off cause you more active- not sitting watch tv! But if your a person who will exercise at night after eating then you can eat the same amount!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

from what i have read and heard eating late makes you fatter no matter how many calories it is!. I believe this is because you go to bed soon after eating at like 10 pm, your body goes into "rest mode" and does not digest as quickly!. As proof that it makes you fat look at how sumo wrestlers eat, they consume a massive meal and are REQUIRED to sleep immediately after so that they don't burn any calorie or weight!. I ain't no doctor and I don't think I'm answering your question exactly but I mean, it's not like you're going to kill me so here I go;
I think ;
Eating a large number of calories in a short amount of time can cause to gain weight instead of having a break between meals!.(cause you don't burn the calories)

Eating after 8pm(after you eat all 3 meals), does go to fat storage since you're body has it's protiens, carbohydrates,sugars,sodium,cholestrol and what not!.!.!.!.

I bodybuild and I eat every 2-3 hours on the dot!.!.!.no matter how late I stay up!. My last meal of the day is usually at 11:00pm!

You just need to be eating the right kinds of things!. Carbs aren't so good late at night - you should be eating lean proteins and healthy fats!.

You need to spread your calories out throughout your day rather than eating 2000 calories within a few hours!. if you eat 8 smaller meals a day you can have 500 calories for each meal!. Eating every 2-3 hours will also keep your metabolism revved!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it does not! I eat at night because if I go to bed hungry I can't sleep!. I have never put weight on from eating at night!. But I also don't eat huge amounts - just to satisfy my hunger - and I don't eat junk!. I eat something whole grain or fruit or 94% fat free popcorn!. Overeating any time of day will cause weight gain, not just at night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it could, if your metabolism is slow!. We have to learn to eat, for fuel, and then burn it off!. Like a car and the gas tank!. If you fill up and go to sleep, you store the energy as fat!.

I've heard that it can make you gain weight but I don't know if I buy it!. If you burn 500 calories a day and eat 2000, I don't think it matters when in the day the calories were eaten or burnt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

eating after 8pm can mess up a certain type of hormone or something, and can therefore lead to more hunger hormones to be released so you eat more in the morning without realising
