Answers:
Sadly its almost near impossible not to lose any muscle if you are going to start a cutting phase!. Regardless of how strict your workout is and diet you will always lose some muscle!. The body will burn mainly fat but will also start burning precious muscle!. It sucks but thats just how it is!. You can reduce burning muscle by following a very strict diet (look online for a good cutting diet) and doing HIIT cardio!. High intensity intervals training cardio is coming around to be the best way to burn fat and keep muscle mass!. If you dont know what HIIT is, its where you alternate your level of intensity for working out!. Say you are running, start out fast jogging for 5 minutes straight!. After the 5 minutes period, run at 90% full speed for 1 minutes, then alternate back to jogging!. Do this back and forth till you reach 15 minutes and you are done!

Before starting this type of cardio, its important to start out jogging for a week or two to get your body back used to this type of exsercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would reduce your calorie intake to a reasonable amount that would provide enough energy for the day while burning some of the extra fat reserves on your body!. In order to maintain muscle, it will be important for you to continue an exercise regimen that includes both aerobic (i!.e!., running, swimming, aerobics, martial arts, etc!.) and anaerobic exercises (lifting weights)!. And, be sure to continue getting at least the daily amount or more of protein in your diet; and drink lots of water and be sure to keep a reasonable amount of fiber in your diet!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it is possible to lose fat & not muscle!. A 2lb loss of fat a week is commonly accepted!. It's mostly accomplished by diet!. You need to know your daily calorie need & then take about 500 off that!. Then a diet high in protein & low in fat & carbs is best!. (Not forever)!.
Eat every 2,3 hours!. small meals/snacks!.
Caffeine's a good help to burn fat!. Green tea extract, too!.
Ya know, another trick is to go real low on calories for 2,3 days, then splurge!. Keeps your metabolism guessing & on that splurge day you'll actuall feel the carbs burning off!. I tried it & it works!.
Of course, I gather your hitting the weights!. That's paramount!. Go for the higher rep, lower weight version!. And do cardio after weight!. Better fat burn!.
Try HIIT!. basically walk/sprint!. Real good!.

There's a lot of other little trix!. Lotta water, others!. Chk BB!.com!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
