How many cups of cooked brown rice yeilds from 1 cup of uncooked rice? Also are red and brown rice the same in terms of calories? Thanks alot.

to the 3rd guy who answered my question: dont really need to lose weight im on track with my goals. Just asking really so I can keep track of my macronutrients. Also its recommended to eat 5-6 small meals a day to help with the metabolism not a mesly 2 meals thats B.S.

rice doubles in size when cooked so 1 raw cup = 2 cooked cups...
I would imagine red and brown rice would be the same calories ..
it is so much healthier than white rice....
