I'm getting over the flu- how soon can I return to my regular workout?!


Question:

I'm getting over the flu- how soon can I return to my regular workout?

Had a fever-sore throat-coughing-headache-stuff... up-for 5-6 days, now just a random coughing fit, and a bit stuffy- but tiiiired!
Reg workout= 30-45 on elip or treadmill (5xwk) and strength training another 30-45 not overly strenuous (2-3xwk)!

please get better first, it is best to rest and not worry about working out. you are not consuming many calories anyway and you are most likely going to lose weight during your sickness. once you feel that you have the energy then you workout. people sometimes fail to believe that rest is needed to maintain your health. keep up the good work and get well soon.
