Question: What type of food to eat to help gain weight!?
When I check my bmi it says that I'm in good shape and all but I want to gain 5 pounds or so, and I eat a lot but I guess junk food just doesn't cut it!.!.!.I hear nuts are good but what other food should I eat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, nuts and peanut butter are great sources of healthy fats, they contain monounsaturated fats which are good for you!. They are also very calorific, so you don't feel as if you are eating too much!. Some other foods with healthy fats are avocados, olive oil, lean meats like chicken breast, cheese, and yogurts!. Just try adding little things here and there, like some shredded cheese to salad, a slice of avocado to your sandwich, or try cooking veggies in olive oil!. If you find it hard to eat more, you might want to check out drinks made specifically for weight gain, such as Ensure of Boost!. Each 8oz bottle has about 350 calories and is packed with nutrients, plus they taste good too!. Just drink 2 of these a day in addition to your regualr meals, and you should have no problem gaining that 5lbs!.

Eat more protein!. This will increase your muscle mass, especially if u weight train!. Do not eat junk food to try to gain weight--u will gain weight but it will be fat!. Go for lean steak, chicken breasts, or best of all protein shakes!. Protein powders are fairly inexpensive, and convenient!. You will be able to gain 5lbs--most of it will be muscle mass!. You cant lose when u up your protein intake!. If u don't weight train, u should try it!. Not only will u gain weight=muscle, u will lost fat at the same time and transform your physique!. if you want to gain muscle, then eat lots of food with protein e!.g!. nuts, fish, eggs etc protein'll turn into fat if you dont work out, so regular excercise'll help there!. if you jsut want to gain weight then eat alot of carbs, and increase ur diet generally!. but fast food is a really unhealthy way to gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
