HELP...my exercise routine isn't working????!!?!

Question: HELP!.!.!.my exercise routine isn't working!?!?!?!?!!!?
I have been working out for like 2 months now 5-6 days a week for like 3 hrs and I still haven't seen any results!. I still have stomach flab when I bend over!. Do you have any tips on flattening your tummy!? I try to suck it in, does that make it flatter!? Also, do situps work!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Situps just make the muscles larger, but not make you lose weight!. If you want to lose weight, it's a simple solution!. I went from 205 to 171!. So first!.!.!. lets look at diet!.

I'm a big fan of the diet my mother uses!. Eat like a king in the morning, a queen for lunch, and a pauper for dinner!. In other words, eat big at the beginning of the day, protein, carbs, etc!. The more protein you have in the morning, the less you'll eat through the day!. The later you eat, the more you'll add to the gut!. Start cutting carbs through the day!. No bread, no pasta, no rice for dinner!. Just a protein (chicken, beef, pork, fish, tofu) and vegetables for dinner!. And eat early!. You may want to think about adding a protein bar (low sugar, low salt, low carb) during the day!.

Sugar (sucrose) will make you fat!.
Carbs (glucose) will make you fat!.
If you're not sure how much sugar is too much!.!.!. look at a can of soda!. it'll probably say something like!.!.!. 25 grams of sugar!. 25 grams is like 25 of those little sugar packets that you put in your coffee!. That's way too much!. avoid that!.

Now!.!.!. that's diet!. Let's talk about exercise!.
People who run do not build muscle!. Cardio is only good on the days you actually do it!. Not the days you don't!. Muscles burn more calories at rest!. So even when you're not working out!.!.!. you're burning more!. Now, I'm not saying you have to be a weight lifter, but you'll want to build some muscle!.

So lets get started on workout!.

Let's start with the basics!. Body squats, lunges, pushups, pullups, and situps!. I'd start with those!. Do as many as you can!. Push till failure!. Do that a few times a week!.

If you're short on motivation, forget cardio kickboxing, forget spin class, forget all that typical gym stuff!. Go the new direction!. Go crossfit!. Check the crossfit website (below) and see if there is a crossfit group in your area!. Crossfit is great because it's a group exercise, but it'll push you to the limit!.

My close friend started on crossfit, shreaded down, and is now in the best shape I'd ever seen!. And she's in her mid-30's!.

So, eat less carbs and sugar!.!.!. and build some muscle!.
If you're overweight, it's going to take time to lose that weight!. Keep your diet strict 6 days a week!. On the 7th day, eat what you want!. This has to be a lifestyle change!. Not a strict short term diet!. Work out 3 days a week, then work toward 5!. And keep good luck!.

Cheers!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you want to make sure you do, along with a great exercise plan, is eat and maintain a healthy food plan, too! Sucking in, I have heard, helps to strengthen the muscles of the stomach, which, in turn [when you get rid of the layer of fat covering the abs] will make your stomach look amazing! Anyway, good luck with your exercise! Sit-ups are a great way to strengthen your core, but don't do them if you want to flatten your stomach in a short amount of time!. What I do to get my stomach flat quickly is walking!. While you walk, you can place your hands on your stomach and feel the results coming! Again, good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercise and weight lose all depend on what you eat!. If you are not changing the way you eat then it doesn't really matter!. Tighten your tummy whenever you are doing something it helps your muscles and over time you will naturally just suck in your tummy!. Sit ups help also but only after your tummy is not so much fat!. Yoga I would think is your best bet for toneing the body!. As goofy as it sounds yoga will help all those spots that need help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you were really big then even if you lose all the weight you can you might still have some left over skin flapping in the wind!. other than that just eat healthy and exercise routinely!. look up in magazines and internet sites and check out different work out routines and exercised and study nutricios facts!. drink lots of water and work out about an hour or so after you eat and work off what you ate and then burn off some reverse energy if you can!. don't overdue it thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

A lot of people say that sit-ups work, but I've found that it just makes the muscle UNDER the flab harder!.!.LOL!. Walking!.!.!.and running seem to be the best things!.!.!.or you can lay down on the couch and lift both legs!.!.!.(keep them next to each other!.!.!.) up and hold them for a second and then bring them down!.!.!.don't let them touch the couch!.!.!.and repeat!.!.!.
Another thing to remember!.!.that if you want to tighten up your middle!.!.that you need to tighten up your sides!.!.!.and I would suggest using a broom!.!.!.over your shoulders!.!.!.and turning side to side!.!.carbonated beverages go straight to the flab!.!.!.drink lots of water!.!.!.!.and sucking it in!.!.!.yeah!.!.!.it helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
