Unbleached Flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), Water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sour Culture, Contains less than 2% of the following: Salt, Sugar, Yeast, Semolina, Malt Powder, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Ascorbic Acid (dough conditioner), Folic Acid, Ferrous Sulfate. CONTAINS: WHEAT.

i dont get it it looks like white bread ( bad carbs) but it says its not or is it really a "bad" carb and im just reading it wrong

Answers:

Terms like "enriched wheat flour", "unbleached wheat flour", and "wheat flour" are different terms for whole wheat flour that has been processed into white flour.

Therefore, you are correct in being suspicious. That is a "bad carb" (metabolically like sugar).

The good whole wheat breads should read "Whole wheat flour" and be the only flour listed. Not "wheat flour," "unbleached wheat flour," or "unbleached enriched wheat flour.
