Trust me on this one, for three months of exercising and watching my food intake my weight actually went up. But I kept at it and all of a sudden, after a bit more than three months, found I was down about four pounds (and my blood pressure came down too) and I experienced regular weight drops. I can also feel myself getting smaller fatwise.
I can only conclude that it took my body a while to adapt to a new set of demands that I put on it.
Just keep at it and even if it takes a few months eventually your body too will kick in. Don't put so much emphisis on weight loss, just concentrate on getting good at exercises, and the weight loss will follow.
