Make sure you eat enough protein!.
Exercise!. Lifting weights, even if it's just a little, keeps your muscle, and muscle helps activate your metabolism!.
Drink water throughout the day!.
Eat enough calories!. Eating too many or too few makes your metabolism slow down!.
Eat several small portions a day, preferably 5 to 6 times during your normal day!.
Keep moving !.!.!. take the stairs, park far from the entrance, if shopping for a few items that you can carry, take a basket instead of a shopping cart, and things like that!.
Sleep enough time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best and most consistent way to keep your metabolism going without having to worry about having the yo yo effect when your changing your eating habits to lose weight is eating a small meal every 2-3 hours!. This will allow you about 5 to 6 meals a day but that doesn't mean pig out on fast food and french fries, but choose the food wisely!. Eat a piece of whole wheat toast and 1 egg white with a glass of milk for breakfast, a piece of fruit or low fat yogurt for a snack then for lunch a small salad with oil and vinegar or low fat italian with about 3 ounce grilled chicken and then for a snack 3 hours later go for some veggies and then for dinner just do protein that will keep you fuller longer!. Try not to eat 2 hours before you go to bed and drink as much water as possible!. that should be your main intake of liquid!. but do not forget exercising 40-60 minutes a day and following this easy every 3 hour way of eating will help boost your metabolism and keep your body burning the fat and loosing the weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Working out early in the morning and eating a big breakfast after the workout help a lot!. Also eat about five to six meals a day that are smaller so they are easier to digest and are used more thoroughly!. Eating smaller meals keeps the metabolism active longer then eating a lot and letting the metabolism get tired of digesting the same meal over a long period of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) exercise
2) more muscle: muscle has more metabolic needs than fat
3) eat smaller, more frequent meals: this way your body will not hold on to calories because it knows it will always have more coming and will also utilize the calories more efficiently
4) recently on discovery health they stated people who kept their bodies in a slight state of starvation (around a 2000-2500 calorie/day) state, lived longer!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercising in the morning, eating a little bit every couple hours, drinking a ton of water!. Drinking green tea helps a little bit too, but NOT Arizona or any other bottled teas, they are too sweet and would be counterproductive - green tea that you steep yourself helps a little bit, it's best to have a cup or two first thing in the morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eating breakfast is a must! It boosts your metabolism for the rest of the day!. Also, if you can, eat more smaller meals throughtout the day rather that just big ones!. And EAT when your hungry, or else your body will think your starving yourself and you will store fat instead of losing it!.

Hope I helped :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
