how do I go about loosing the 40 lbs i have to loose any ideas

Well, you're obviously no stranger to dieting if you've already lost 60 lb!.s, but if you want to crank it up a notch try adding a regimented workout schedule, especially one that includes weight training or resistance training!. When you build muscle, it helps increase your metabolism and burn fat, as well as create tone and definition!. If you want to tighten up your stomach, do lots of exercise that requires balance and agility!. I'd suggest workout videos like Power90 (also P90X, but it's more difficult than regular Power 90) or Turbo Jam!. I like them a lot and have found that they give a great workout!. If you lost 60 lbs in 13 months you certainly don't need my advice!!! 10 gallons of fat loss and a net deficit of210thousand calories! I am very impressed!. I would suggest you continue what you had been doing for7-8 more months (ouch-but you seem to have made some big lifestyle changes!. I had mentioned this question to my wife she is a nurse practitioner and her knowledge of metabolism/weight loss is excellent!. She had said to me that this person may need to change the type of exercise he/she is doing as they have reached maximum muscle mass for that activity, and working another group may be even greater benefit, especially if you keep up the prior exercise but possibly at slightly decreased intensity if you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well done, I'm the same as you i have lost over 3 stones (about 36pounds) and want to lose another 30 pounds, but I'm finding it really hard, I've gone from a UK size 20 to a size 12/14!. But my tummy is so loose, i hate it a am trying to do alot of walking and see if that helps!. and couple of fitness DVD's, i have an ab curler, so I'm going to use that!.

Increased and varied exercise!. Reducing the amount of fat you eat!. More fruit and veg!. Replace most drinks with water!.

Well done on losing so much weight - and use your experiance of that to help you push to lose the last 40lbs!.
