Answers:
The 'right' trainers for your foot will depend on its exact shape and movement habits!.

Most brands are built around a 'standard' foot-shaped mould (called a 'last'), but each company's 'standard' shape is slightly different!.

To get a good pair (regardless of cost) you need to shop around A LOT!. Really take time to feel what each shoe is like!. Put ONE shoe on, and walk around the shop a little!. Don't try to run in them, because your 'style' won't appear until you've run for a little while!. Just pay attention to how each shoe feels; you'll be surprised how much difference there can be between similar-looking shoes!. Take a notebook, and write down things that you notice about each shoe that you try!. Then you can compare how other shoes feel by looking for the same 'characteristics'!.

(Like, sometimes the tongue is so thin that you can feel the laces digging in, or the heel might feel too narrow, or too wide!. Different shoes will rub or pinch in different places, and if you pay enough attention while you try them on, you can often spot the problem area!.)

DON'T buy any shoes on the same day, when you've been around trying them on (unless you feel REALLY impressed with one pair, in ways that you can list in the book)!. Try to return to the same shops on different days, and test the same shoe in different shops (the floor surface can give a false impression of a shoe's performance)!. Perhaps even try the other shoe, because most people's left and right feet are slightly different!.

A shoe that fits well, and feels comfortable, can protect your feet better than one which is very 'stable' or 'well cushioned' but a slightly unsuitable shape!.

Running magazines will often list some things to look out for when buying shoes (especially, the features that are relevant to the kind of running you want to do), but remember that your own feet are unique and might require some types of care that don't get a mention in the magazine article!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
