First of all you need to think of it as a 'life style change' instead of a 'diet'!. A 'diet' means something temporary while a 'life style change' becomes habit forming and you are much less likely to yo yo in your weight

I recommend eating a healthy breakfast (scrambled egg whites that are seasoned with greek seasoning (just an example), a slice of toast, some fruit and oj or water for example) then doing cardio in the mornings to jump start your metabolism!. It's important to eat BEFORE you work out so you'll have more energy to get your body going!.

From my experience, everyone is different, I was able to lose weight by not drinking soda and not eating late at night!. If I was hungry before bed I'd have a yogurt or piece of fruit, just a healthy snack to satisfy the hunger!.

Add a lot of protein (eggs, fish, chicken etc etc) to your diet, this will help you build muscles so as you burn fat you'll tone up at the same time!. Also be sure and use weights, you can buy hand weights relatively cheap at stores!.

In order for this to be a life style change slowly take junk food things out of your every day life!. Making a drastic change right away will only cause you to revert back more quickly!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

eating a balanced diet!. here is what I have as a meal plan (I have an eating disorder, so am required to have one):
Breakfast:
2 starches
1 fruit
1 milk
0-1 fats

Lunch:
2 starch
1 fruit
0 milk
1 vegetable
3 oz meat
2 fat

snack:
1 grain

dinner:
2 starch
0 fruit
0 milk
1 vegetable
3 oz meat
1 fat

snack:
1 milk
1 grain

and some people (appropriately) call it 'a life change' which I think is the best term for it!.
you cant just diet and be done!. you have to change the way you eat!. and calling it a diet is kind of derogatoryWww@Answer-Health@Com

Aim for filling/ low calorie foods!. Try shredded wheat cereal in the morning!. It will definitely keep you full until lunch!. Also, fruits and veggies are extremely filling and very low calorie, so while you may be able to eat more than you are used to, you are consuming less calories!. Ultimately, your body is burning more fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The main thing is to cut sodas, chips, and candies!. As well as looking at the food labels to see if the food has hydrogenated oils!. Or trans fat, so don't eat those foods if they have any hydrogenated oils!. Also cutting fast food like McDonalds will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just eat healthy, and be happy about it!. DOn''t deprive yourself of chocolate cake if you love it - no point being skinny if you are unhappy!. Eat in moderation!. Also, exercise is key!. Just make sure your calorie intake is less than what your burn and you will lose weight!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here are some great tips:

1!. Watch what you drink!. Cut out all soda, inclluding diet as artificial sweetners make people hungry!. Drink lots of water, try spparking water with a splash of 100% juice or non-fat milk which some studies show encourage weight loss!.

2!. Move you body!. Your goal should be to work up to 30 minutes of aerobic exercise at least 3 to 5 times a week - but it's fine to start out by simply taking a few turns around the block before bed!.

3!. Start small, as drastic changes are too hard to stick to!. Try reducing the size of the portions you eat and giving up regular soda for a week!. Once you have that down, start gradually introducing healthier foods and exercise into your life!.

4!. Eat more frequently!. Adding healthy snacks (carrot sticks, a low fat granola bar, low fat yogurt, pretzels, or a piece of fruit) to your three squares and eating smaller portions when you sit down to dinner can help you to cut calories without feeling deprived!.

5!. 5 a day keeps the pounds away!. Eating your fruits and vegetables, makes you feel satisfied, helps you lose weight and keeps your heart and body healthy!.

6!. Avoid fad or prepackaged diets and deit pills as these can be unhealthy and very addictive!.

7!. Don't banish certain foods!. The key to long-term success is making healthy choices most of the time!. If you want a piece of cake at a party, go for it! But munch on the carrots rather than the chips to balance it out later in the evening!.
