Question: Is HIIT (high intensity interval training) ok to do every day of the week!?
Answers:
HIIT is powerful and if you are giving it 100%, it is adviseable to have a rest day so your muscles can recover!. Also, doing HIIT 4 times a week is a great amount if you want toning and weight loss!. You could maybe do something with less impact another day like swimming lengths!. I think you may be putting too much strain on the heart by performing HIIT every day of the week (just an opinion)!. But the best routine I can think of is to do a day of strength training and regular (moderate) cardio, followed by a day of High Intensity interval training, and then finding a day to take an "active" rest (like the weekend)!. If you're doing any type of intense exsercise your body needs to take some time to rest!. So the short answer!? No!. Not every day of the week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
