I agree with starvation mode, been there done that!. Also eat most of you calories in the morning and afternoon and resist binge eating at night that also puts your weight at a plateau!. Drink lots of water at night if you get hungry!. If you want to cut back on calories follow the 1500 for a week or 2 then cut back to 1400 I would not go under 1200 and make sure you are eating calories that count!. Not from candy bars and chips even if they say they are low fat!. Put most of your calorie intake into lean proteins (chicken, fish) watch your sodium intake (less than 300 mg a day)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is the 1500 to help you gain or lose weight!? I would always suggest following your doctors orders to a T!. If you don't eat enough calories, your body will go in to starvation mode - which is very detrimental!. If you are trying to cut back even more, this could back fire!. If your body thinks its being starved, it will hang on to every dear sweet calorie and you will get stuck at a plateau!. Eating more calories also helps keep your metabolism running properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1500 is already low so you should start off there and see how much weight you lose!. If you aren't losing any at 1,500 then you can further cut your calories!.
