Question:

I'm 5 feet and 5 inches tall. i weigh 145 pounds. i know this is a little overweight and i'm ready to do

something about it. any good tips for food and working out? i don't really like veggies, but i will eat fruit. and i started doing 100 crunches a day. is this enough to see results?

Answers:

I think you'd like vegetables if you tried preparing them in different ways. Do you like baby carrots? Try them fresh or steamed, or start by just having them with all natural peanut butter and eventually you'll probably grow to like them.

Is 100 crunches a day good enough? Well, it depends. The appetite often increases in people as soon as they exercise, so your total calorie deficit would probably be a small one. And try instead of just doing one type of workout you're likely to get bored with, switch it up. Plan a schedules each week that includes more fun exercises you're interested in,

I'd suggest also counting calories, because weight loss is all about calories in vs. calories out. Like I said, you're appetite increases as you exercise. If you switch to all healthy foods, than keeping your calories under control should be pretty easy at first, but will get harder as your weight loss progresses and your body thinks it needs to go in "food hunting" mode.
