Hi there, I've been doing this run for a few years now, when I stated out I was running it around 13mins but now I can get it down to 10mins!. If you're practicing on the treadmill you need to set your speed to 8!.5mph and that will get you to about 11mins!.!.!. if you increase your speed by !.1mph every !.5miles then you'll do it in approx!. 10!.30!.
Start off by running at 7mph and increase by 0!.1mph every 0!.25miles and you'll soon get fit enough to start at 7!.5 then 8!.0 etc! Hope that helps! oh yeah and no eating for at least half an hour before the gym or you'll end up feeling very sick during your run! !.!.!.and lots of hydration, 10minutes is a long time to run if you need a drink :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You mean you have to be able to run 1!.5 miles in more than 11:56 minutes to get into basic training!?

I think you mean <11:56!.

Yeah, well, I can run a mile in about 9 min, so 13!.5 min for 1!.5 miles!? Well, the only way to improve your endurance is to keep doing cardio!. Always do cardio for at least 30 min, and do it every day, or at least 6 days a week!. Within a couple of weeks you should see your endurance improve!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
