Depends on how fat you are!. If you're really fat you can lose 20 lbs easily before august, if not, it might be tough!. Also depends on if you've ever worked out before!.
If you want to lose 20 lbs do this-
Drink a gallon of water over the course of a day everyday!.
Eat a bowl of high fiber cereal in the morning, skip lunch, and eat a peanut butter sandwich and milk for dinner!.
Now comes the hard part, RUN!. No matter what, you need to be running 5 miles a day at least 5 days a week!.
Run 3 days a week for two weeks about two miles a piece!. Make sure there are hills, don't be a wimp and run on a track!.
after those two weeks add an extra running day each week and an extra mile each day!.
There's other ways to lose this weight but I did this and lost 45 pounds in two months!.
to summarize-eat under a thousand calories, and sweat your A$$ off working out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's tough most will say dangerous!. Watch your sugar, salt and fat!. You'll be eating 5-6 times a day for smaller meals and working out 6 days a week for 1hour or 45 min!. (1-2 timesa day)80% will be cardio/cross!. If your not breathing hard speed up the tempo!.
treadmill jogging/ biking/ jackknifes/ crunches/lunges/ pushups/ curls/ triceps dips/
Basically eat healthyon your small meals
a banana, a yogurt at midmorning
chicken sandwich / raisins at lunch
granola bar snack
apple/ fish/ greenbeans dinner

stretch a lot and drink a lot of water

Too late, you should have started in March or April; to lose more than 5 pound a month can be very dangerous, you can die from a heart attack or stroke (dangers are bigger if you try "pills" and other useless diet products)!.

Cut the fast food and do some sport!. Don't rush your way to the hospital or grave because of social pressures!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To me this isn't really a "diet" its more of a helpful way to control eating and eat healthier!.

Try drinking more water and no pop and juice, and stay away from junk food!. You can treat yourself once and a while but in moderation!.

As for exercise, walks are good!. Ab crunches!. Try working every part of your body at least 3 times a week!.
