Question: Milk!?!!?!!?!!?!!?
I am trying to lose weight, but I drink a glass of whole milk everyday!. Is this helpful or hurtful to my diet!? I drink whole milk b/c that is what we keep in the house because of the children!. I know I should drink fat free, but how bad is a glass of whole milk a day!??Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its not bad for you but It doesnt help you lose weight nor does it give you absorbable calcium!. I try never to eat predigested food!.!.!. lik milk because its not good for your digestive system and causes muscus to build up around the villi in the colon!.
Soy milk is not good because of the hormones that cause breast cancer!. Do some research on what you eat or ask a health food expert at a reliable store!.

Actually, whole milk is very good for you, and can contribute to your weight loss, if you are only drinking 1 glass!. If you were drinking more, I would say no, but 1 is good!.
You are also decreasing your chances of getting osteoporosis later in life!. I used to work for a Doctor, who dealt with alot of nutrition issues!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a woman, milk is good for you whether it is whole milk or skim!. Obviously you know that skim milk is better but the whole is better than nothing!. Make sure you are getting 3-5 servings of dairy a day!.!.!.!.the calcium is very important for your bones and to help prevent osteoporosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It would be better if you drank soya milk because it has more nutrients, calcium and protein!.

i think 1 glass a day is fine, thats not too many calories and it is also somthing healthy that u need!.

Try drinking skim/fat free milk instead!. You will still get all the calcium and nutrients, but with no fat!. Whole milk has twice the calories, and about 8 grams of fat in 8 oz!Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your goal is to lose weight then drink fat free!. In a week the extra fat from the milk adds up to about 1000 extra calories that you don't need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
